Questions We Hear Often

Three Questions, Answered Straight Off the Log

How many boreholes will my project need?

It depends on the footprint and the variability of the ground. A small commercial slab may need only a handful of shallow borings, while a long warehouse or a multi-building development can require many more spread across the site. In the first conversation we will give you a working count and an honest price, and the final number is confirmed in the signed proposal before the rig ever moves.

How quickly can you mobilize a rig?

Within the current mobilization window we can usually have the rig on a cleared site within a week or two of the signed proposal. Weather, site access, and utility locate delay can move that date, and the field pair of our office phone answers around the drill schedule so you always know where we stand.

Will I receive a stamped report my bank and builder will accept?

Yes. Every completed investigation is reported on our boring log scale, stamped and signed by a licensed professional engineer of BSA Consulting Engineers, PLLC, and delivered with the laboratory data and the foundation recommendations attached. Your lender, your code official, and your general contractor all receive the same certified record, and we hold a copy in our files for the life of the structure.
